The Social Housing Unit (SHU) welcomes the Government’s announcement of a further $104.1m in the Social Housing Fund (SHF) over the next three years to support the growth of non-government housing providers. In addition SHU will be holding six Regional Forums to get stakeholder feedback on the Social Housing Fund process and to engage with the sector on the Interim Social Housing Investment Plan.
SHU is currently undertaking a review of the 2011/12 Social Housing Fund with the sector which will inform the development of future funding rounds.
